At Starterwood Studios, we enjoy taking natural materials and creating pieces that capture the beauty and variety of our North Carolina home. Our state is a haven for artists and photographers, with its natural beauty that extends from the mountains in the west to the central piedmont and on to our eastern plains. Like all North Carolinians, we love our state, and you’ll see that love reflected in our work–whether it’s a photograph of a spectacular coastal sunset or a mirror framed in wood recovered from an old downed tree on an Orange County farm.
